Over the past two years interest in "WebDVD" products has grown tremendously. There are a number of different ways to add Internet connectivity to a DVD-Video title. This article will discuss products from three different companies, InterActual Technologies, SpinWare and Microsoft, that are designed to integrate high quality multimedia content stored on a DVD disc with the graphics and textual content stored on the Internet. In Part 2 of this series, we will also take a look at specifically how one WebDVD title, StarGaze, was implemented.
